I have four toilets of varying ages in my home and installed this in the two most frequently used ones. It is definitely extremely simple to set up although the internal cable was a bit long and very rigid so it took some finagling to stay out of the way of the float. One of the two toilets I installed it in, would only actually flush successfully with the number 2 button no matter how I adjusted the water level for the number 1 flush. In the end I moved it to another toilet that we don't use as often and it works there. Just don't expect it to work with an old cheap toilet I guess. At least they include a spare ziptie so you can reinstall it at least once without needing other parts.
